The video has Adrenaline Horror from the soundtrack playing in the background. According to Gabe Newell, the video was done in slow motion to show people how smooth the skeletal animation system is. The video shows parts of Communications Center, Office Complex, and early parts of On A Rail. It can be found on the disc of Half-Life Alpha. Valve.avi is the first known trailer for Half-Life from early 1997. The videos can be also found in the media disc Half-Life Preliminary Findings (the contents of the disc were included in the other games published by Sierra Entertainment), and digital press kits. They were showcased to promote the game at events, through cover discs of video game magazines, and on the Internet.
